Lost Ark is notorious for its legion raids, endgame activities where teams of players must work together through complex multi-stage boss battles. The April roadmap said it tentatively slated them to release the first Legion Raid, against Demon Commander Valtan, in May, which Amazon Games has now confirmed. Here IGGM brings players some new content about what the May Update will bring.
The developers say that since Legion Raid is challenging and takes time, there are levels (or checkpoints) that save players their progress as they progress through the Raid. Valtan is an eight-man Legion raid with 2 gates and introduces a ton of new mechanics. But Normal difficulty requires players to be level 1415, while Hard requires them to be level 1445.
And there’s also a new rarity tier added to the Valtan raid. Crafting materials got in raids can be turned into relic gear, which includes accessories with more engraving nodes. This might not sound very impactful, but in Korea it changed the viable build of some advanced classes.
The update will also bring more skins, and besides regular store additions, a limited-time store called Neria’s Wardrobe will feature some more modern apparel items, including t-shirts, jeans, and snapback caps. Here are some teasers of modern fashion released in South Korea.
The May Update also brings the previously announced destroyer advanced class and Deskaluda Guardian Raid, Challenge Guardian Raids, new guild events including PvP island sieges, the recently added South Vern continent and more events at Wild Wings Island. If players want to get more rewards in the newly added event, they can get the cheapest Lost Ark Gold at IGGM, which will also make players have more fun!
